## Brand questions

### The database

**Who are the creators in UGCStars?** Independent UGC creators who applied to be listed. Every profile is reviewed by our team before it goes live, and we check that social accounts and sample work are real and belong to the applicant.

**How many creators are there, and where are they?** The database stats page shows live numbers: total creators, countries, languages, niches, ages, rates and how fast the database is growing. Check that your audience is covered before you buy.

**How specific can I get with filters?** Very. Beyond country, city, age, gender and language, you can filter by platform, follower range, content type, starting rate, skin type, pets, parents and more, and combine them all.

**How often are new creators added?** New creators join through our application form, invitations and nominations, and are listed after review. Annual access includes every creator added while you’re subscribed.

**Are profiles kept up to date?** Creators can edit their profile anytime. We run regular checks for broken links and outdated profiles and remind creators to update them.

### Contacting creators

**How do I contact a creator?** With annual access, each profile shows the creator’s business email and social links. Email them from your own inbox. There’s no in-platform messaging.

**Who negotiates rates and usage rights?** You do, directly with the creator. Profiles show a starting rate as a guide; final pricing, deliverables, usage rights and timelines are agreed between you.

**Do you take a commission or handle payments?** No. You pay creators directly, and UGCStars never takes a cut from you or from them.

**Can I save creators and build shortlists?** Yes. Save creators, group them into shortlists per campaign, copy all emails in a shortlist at once, and save searches to get emailed when new creators match.

**How does billing work?** One payment of $245 a year. It renews automatically, and you can turn renewal off any time in your account. There are no per-contact fees.

**Can I try it before buying?** Yes. Search, filter and open creator profiles for free. Only contact details and social links need access.

**Can my agency use one account?** No. Annual access is for one person: whoever controls the email used to buy it. Each person who needs access buys their own.

**I bought on the old site. Do I pay again?** No. Log in with your purchase email and your access carries over.

**What is a free brief?** A one-page form where you describe your campaign and the creators you need. No account or purchase required.

**What happens after I post a brief?** We review it, then email it to matching creators who opted in to opportunities, including your contact email. You can also publish it as a public casting call that creators can share.

**Can I post a brief and buy access?** Yes. Many brands do both: post a brief to get inbound interest and search the database to reach out to specific creators.
