## What personal information does UGCStars hold about me?

It depends on how you use UGCStars:

- **Brands:** your email, name, company, invoice details, order and payment records (we don’t store full card numbers), saved creators and searches, and records of logins and paid-feature use.
- **Creators:** everything on your application and profile, your casting call applications, and records of logins and profile activity.
- **Brief posters:** the brief and the contact details in it.
- **Affiliates:** your details, PayPal email, referrals and payouts.
- **Everyone:** messages you send us and, where you allow it, analytics about how you use the site.

The [Privacy Policy](https://ugcstars.com/privacy) explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

## How do I access, correct or delete my data?

Creators can correct and delete almost everything from their creator account. Brands can update their details in Account.

For anything else, such as a copy of your data, deleting a brand account or objecting to how we use your information, [contact us](https://ugcstars.com/contact). We’ll ask you to confirm you control the email address or social account involved, then respond within one month. There’s no fee for normal requests. We may keep records the law requires, or that we need for a payment dispute, and we’ll tell you if we can’t do everything you ask.

If you’re in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.

## How do you handle sensitive details such as pregnancy?

Telling us you’re expecting is health information, and some places treat skin type the same way. We use these details only with your explicit consent, given when you select them, and only to show them on your profile, in search filters and for matching opportunities. We never show the expected date publicly, never use these details for advertising and never include them in payment dispute records. You can remove them from your account at any time.

We never ask for racial or ethnic origin, religion, political views, sexual orientation, biometric data or criminal records, and we don’t try to infer them.

## How does UGCStars use cookies?

We use four kinds:

- **Strictly necessary:** login, security, payment and your cookie choices. Always on.
- **Functional:** keep your answers in forms such as the creator application and the brief, and your filters and preferences, on your device.
- **Analytics:** show us which pages help and where people leave a form. Used in aggregate, never for advertising profiles.
- **Affiliate attribution:** remember for 30 days which affiliate referred you, so they’re credited if you buy.

In the UK and EEA, optional cookies stay off until you choose. Accept all and Reject all carry equal weight in the banner, and you can change your choices at any time in the [Cookie Policy](https://ugcstars.com/cookies). We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.

## Why did I get an invitation email from UGCStars?

Our team looks for UGC creators with public professional profiles, and creators and brands can nominate someone. If you were found that way, we send one invitation to apply. We don’t add you to a newsletter, and we don’t list you unless you apply.

To stop invitations, use the opt-out link in the email or [contact us](https://ugcstars.com/contact). Your address goes on our suppression list, which holds only what we need to make sure we never contact you again. Records about people we never contacted are deleted after 60 days.

## How do I remove a profile that describes me?

If it’s an unclaimed profile created from our earlier records, you can claim it and then hide or delete it from your account, or ask us to remove it. To ask, use the [contact form](https://ugcstars.com/contact) with the Creator profile topic and the profile link. We’ll ask you to verify it’s you, for example by replying from the email on the profile or adding a code to a linked social bio, then remove it within 30 days.

If someone has created a profile pretending to be you, report it the same way. We hide the profile while we check.

## How long do you keep information?

Only as long as we need it. The main periods:

| Information | How long we keep it |
| --- | --- |
| Creator profiles, listed or hidden | Until you delete the profile, then removed within 30 days |
| Rejected creator applications | Deleted 90 days after the decision |
| Sourcing records for people we never contacted | Deleted after 60 days |
| Invitation history and the suppression list | Kept permanently, limited to what we need to never contact you again |
| Orders and access records | While the account has access, then for a set period for tax, accounting and legal reasons |
| Login and paid-feature records | For a set period, or longer during a payment dispute |
