Updated: 14 October 2026

The first edition of the UGC Rate Index comes out on 1 November 2026. Each edition stays online at its own address and doesn’t change after it’s published.

First edition: 1 November 2026 · Next edition: 1 November 2026

## All editions

There are no editions yet. The first one comes out on 1 November 2026, and editions are never back-dated. Until then the [Rate Index](https://ugcstars.com/rates) shows live figures with their date, and its files are at [/data/rates/latest.csv](https://ugcstars.com/data/rates/latest.csv) and [/data/rates/latest.json](https://ugcstars.com/data/rates/latest.json).

## How editions work

- A new edition comes out on the first of each month. It uses the listed profiles as they are that day.
- An edition doesn’t change after it’s published. When creators change their rates, the change shows in the next edition.
- If we find a mistake in an edition, we correct it and note the correction on the edition’s page and in the [methodology](https://ugcstars.com/rates/methodology).
- The [Rate Index](https://ugcstars.com/rates) page always shows the latest edition, with the rate checker.

## Citing an edition

Cite the edition you used and link to its own page. The figure then still matches its source after newer editions come out.

## Files

Each edition has a CSV and a JSON file at a permanent address, such as /data/rates/2026-11.csv. Column names include their unit, for example median_rate_usd. Each file states the edition date, the number of starting rates behind each figure and the license (CC BY 4.0). [All data files](https://ugcstars.com/data)
