UGC Rate Index editions

The first edition of the UGC Rate Index comes out on 1 November 2026. Each edition stays online at its own address and doesn’t change after it’s published.

All editions

There are no editions yet. The first one comes out on 1 November 2026, and editions are never back-dated. Until then the Rate Index shows live figures with their date, and its files are at /data/rates/latest.csv and /data/rates/latest.json.

How editions work

  • A new edition comes out on the first of each month. It uses the listed profiles as they are that day.
  • An edition doesn’t change after it’s published. When creators change their rates, the change shows in the next edition.
  • If we find a mistake in an edition, we correct it and note the correction on the edition’s page and in the methodology.
  • The Rate Index page always shows the latest edition, with the rate checker.

Citing an edition

Cite the edition you used and link to its own page. The figure then still matches its source after newer editions come out.

Files

Each edition has a CSV and a JSON file at a permanent address, such as /data/rates/2026-11.csv. Column names include their unit, for example median_rate_usd. Each file states the edition date, the number of starting rates behind each figure and the license (CC BY 4.0). All data files
