I've worked in sales for over a decade and never planned on doing this as a career. Late last year, I stumbled upon some UGC videos on Tik Tok. A few months prior to joining Tik Tok, I witnessed my boyfriend's murder two weeks after moving into our new place together. I was unable to return to work or any capacity of normalcy because of the compound trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I've spent the last 14 months working on myself, healing and sharing my grief and trauma healing journey publicly on social media. While trying to recover from the loss of my partner, I spent a lot of time researching UGC, took the necessary steps to get things started and booked my first few jobs. I'm excited to now work from home where I feel safe, can be creative and make a living.
